Jonny Petrucco, the Sports Card Tax Guy, first entered the Sports Card Hobby when his Dad brought home millions of cards to begin reselling on eBay in 2001. He has fond memories of studying the Beckett Price Guide while sitting on the couch and pricing out cards to list on eBay. At 9 years old, he saved up $100 to purchase his favorite card, a 1985 Topps USA Mark McGwire. Of Course and unfortunately, his 500+ different McGwire cards never reached the value that he hoped for. Growing up in the family business widened his knowledge of all things sports cards, non-sports cards, autographs, memorabilia, comic books, albums, vintage toys, etc. Today, Jonny has paired his interest in the sport card and collectibles hobby with his love for spreadsheets and helping business owners minimize taxes while maximizing personal wealth. Jonny is an IRS Enrolled Agent (aka Tax Pro) and Quickbooks Pro Advisor who specializes in servicing entrepreneurs in the sports card and collectibles world. Jonny has a masters degree in business and attended a two year post-graduate Bible school. He enjoys traveling, reselling, family-time, and Bible studies. He grew up in South Florida and now resides in Gainesville, Florida with his wife and two kids… go gators!
